Overnight Stay Altitude: Phakding (2,610 m/ 8,562 ft)

You will wake up early in the morning, have your breakfast and drive to the Tribhuvan International Airport. Make sure to carry your travel documents along with you. The scenic flight to Lukla only operates during the morning and it takes about 30- 35 min to reach Tenzing Hillary Airport. The Airport is at the height of 2800 m above the sea level with the very shortest runaways, making it the most dangerous flight. The more dangerous the flight, the more scenic view you get to enjoy. You will get to see the mighty view of the Himalayan Ranges, green vegetation of the hills and beautiful valleys.

After your risky landing at Lukla, you will start your hiking towards Phakding. The way to Phakding is not so steep. The paths are wide and you will come across various villages and suspension bridges along the way but there is nothing too strenuous. You can get an idea on the livelihood of the local Sherpa people today. After 3 to 4 hours of walking, you will reach Phakding and call it your day.

Overnight Stay Altitude: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/ 11,286 ft)

Today we will be heading towards the Gateway of Mt, Everest or you can just call it the Capital of Khumbu Region, Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is a bustling city.  After your early morning breakfast at Phakding, you will begin your trek to Namche Bazaar. As you move forward from Phakding, you will reach Monjo, which is also the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park where you can get your entry permit.

After walking along the river, passing through pine and rhododendron forests, you will have to pass the Hillary suspension bridge. Hillary suspension bridge is the last suspension bridge before entering Namche Bazaar. Then you will have to climb 700 m uphill first to reach Namche. After 5 to 6 hours, you will reach Namche Bazaar.

Overnight Stay Altitude: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/ 11,286 ft)

Namche Bazaar is the gateway of Mt. Everest also has the largest settlement in the Everest Region. Namche Bazaar is a bustling city in the Everest Region and is also one of the major highlights of Everest Panorama Trek as we are staying one more day as a process of acclimatization. Acclimatization is necessary during the trek as your body requires time to adjust to the changing climate. 

Today you will amble towards Hotel Everest View to have a far and best view of Mt. Everest along with other mountains. While returning, you will also explore the Sherpa Museum where you can learn more about the Sherpa Culture, Sagarmatha National Park and the Khumbu Region. Then you will return back to your hotel. You can have the remaining free time strolling Namche Bazaar’s café, restaurant and bakeries.

Overnight Stay Altitude: Thame (3,800 m/ 12,467 ft)

After your breakfast, you will leave for Thame. Thame is one of the oldest villages in Khumbu Region. The trail today begins along the beautiful Bhote Koshi River. The route you will go by today is the historically significant route to Tibet. After following the footprinted trail for 4 to 5 hours, you will reach Thame. 

Thame village lies beneath the Kongde peak so you will feel the serene mountainous atmosphere. Thame is home to many famous mountaineers like Ang Rita Sherpa, Apa Sherpa (world record mountaineers) and is also the childhood home to Tenzing Norgay Sherpa. Thame Village is also the oldest village of Khumbu region and Thame monastery is also considered as one of the oldest monasteries known for its annual Mani Rimdu Festival. 

Overnight Stay Altitude: Khumjung (3,790 m/ 12,434 ft)

Today, you will be advancing to Khumjung. After the early morning breakfast, you will start hiking enjoying the breathtaking views of Himalayas, villages, and trails of the region. The trail today is slightly rocky where you will have to pass through alpine forest like pine trees, bushes. After climbing up the slightly steep uphill, you will reach Khumjung.

Khumjung is a beautiful valley of the oldest and the largest settlement of Sherpa people in Khumbu Region. Khumjung is surrounded by a lush valley of rhododendron forests and is set against a backdrop of famous peaks like Mount Everest, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku and Mt. Khumbila. Khumjung is a home to a 500-year-old Budhhist Gompa and its rich cultural tapestry. Also, the famous school built by Sir Edmund Hillary is also in Khumjung.
 

Overnight Stay Altitude: Tengboche (3,867 m/ 12,687 ft)

Today you will be heading to Tengboche. Tengboche is a village widely known for its beautiful monasteries. As you descend towards Tengboche you will see an incredible view of Ama Dablam, Kantega, Everest and Lhotse. After a 4 to 5 hours of hike, you will reach Tengboche, a beautiful settlement. You can get awe-inspiring views of mountains from Tengboche. 

You will visit the oldest Buddhist Tengboche Monastery and witness the beautiful Buddhist Sherpa Culture and Rituals. During the Mani Rimdu Festival, you can also take part.

Overnight Stay Altitude: Namche Bazaar (3,440 m/ 11,286 ft)

After your beautiful night at Tengboche, you will start your day having your breakfast and start descending towards Namche Bazaar. You can enjoy hiking down along the trekking trails with the view of mountains. After a walk of 5 to 6 hours, you will reach Namche. You can take a rest or buy souvenirs of your choice.

Overnight Stay Altitude: Lukla (2,840 m/ 9,317 ft)

This is officially the last day walking through the trails. You will be having the final glimpse of the mountain while descending. After 6 to 7 hours of walking you will be reaching Lukla. Overnight stay at Lukla.
 

Overnight Stay Altitude: Kathmandu (1,310 m/ 4,297 ft)

After the early morning breakfast, you will return to Kathmandu with the best scenic flight of mountains. Our representative will receive you at the airport congratulating you for your achievement and help you check in at the hotel. What is the best time to go for Everest View Trekking?

Any season is best for trekking to a trekking enthusiast or nature lovers. The best season to get the best view of Everest is undoubtedly Spring and Autumn. During the Spring Season (March, April and May), the weather for Everest View is clear and warmed by the blooming rhododendron. The route can get quite crowded as it is a peak season for expedition. Overall, the view is worth it to go for. During the Autumn Season (September, October and November), the trekking condition is stable and with the clear view of mountains, making your voyage, the best adventure. During Summer Season (June, July and August), the weather is wet and cloudy, so you might not get the view as clear as other seasons. But this season is truly a boon for a keen botanist as you have to pass through the Sagarmatha National Park, a sanctuary for wide variety of flora and fauna.

Despite other trekking destination, it is even better to go for the Everest Panorama Trek in Nepal during Winter (December, January and February) as the sky is in its best condition.
